Marylebone Girls

Still friends 50 years on!

Loved looking at these pages of memories. I lived in Bowman's Buildings and meet up regularly with what we call "The Marylebone Girls" they are myself, Sandra Smith, Kathy Yates,Linda Conway, Kathryn Doody, Marie Cooney, Vicki and Janice Payne, Brenda Boyle, Pat Hartnett ! They are all their single names. I don't think there are many streets where there are still friends after all these years. We were all born in the same year 1946 with so many shared wonderful memories of growing up. We went to Cosway Street School and some to Christchurch School and then moved onto various secondary schools but still stayed friends mainly when we bunked off school and regularly met up got on a train at Edgeware Road tube and went to the end of the line which was like the country to us! Never bought a ticket just used to bluff our way out!! I think we could write a book between us with all our memories. Love to hear from anyone who remembers any of us.
