I just came back June 1st, went to our Saturday usual morning at Church Street. Still very busy but had a lot of different stalls there to mark the change in the London area, something for every race and religion.

I grew up on this street in the 40s and 50s.

Is this organisation still going? I used to own the Marylebone Novelty Stores Toy and pram shops from the early 50's to the mid 80's and wonder if anyone remembers them

For all of his working life my father was a railwayman at Paddington and in the 1950s each Thursday was pay-day.  On many Thursdays in summer my mother would collect dad's pay and walk me and my brother along Praed Street to Bell Street market.  It has many happy memories for me.  I will photograph it one day soon, try to re-live those 50s days...

I lived in Kennet House for years in the sixties and seventies so recognise that view.

As a young child I lived in Shroton Street and later in Ranston Street.

Church Street Market was brilliant for clothes in the late sixties and seventies.
