Hi great site. I have been researching my family history for the last twelve years. I originate from Marylebone and have some great photos of my family. My sister Chris and myself both worked in Church St market. She worked for Tubby Isaacs and I worked on a hot dog stall. I started a site on face book called Church St Westminster and there are loads of people who lived or do live near to Church St. Sadly I live in Lincolnshire now or I would have loved to have joined your group. Best wishes Sue Ault

Just found your site ! It's a real walk down memory lane for me, remembering so many of the shops etc mentioned. I lived in Penfold Street 'til 1967 and spent every Saturday in Church Street listening to records played by Giljays. It was a wonderful market. My mum (Lil Leonard) walked down it almost every day of her life ! Many thanks for setting it up.
